My Father's Table

This is the time of year many begin new resolutions. We consider what is important. Resolutions to improve health or financial situations are the most typical. These are important, but I challenge you to consider another, relationships. The key one being with our Father.

The family dinner time is critical to the health of a family. There is familiarity with our loved ones that gather around the table with us. So it should be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Go to the Lord’s Table today. Seek Him. Serve Him alone.

Luke 22:26-30 “But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant. “For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.

“You are those who have stood by Me in My trials; and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
