Peace

As we celebrated Memorial Day this past weekend, we reflected on the many lives that were shed so that we might live as free men in peace.

Every follower of Christ is called to be a peacemaker. Peace is defined as harmony in personal relationships, freedom from oppressive thoughts, state of tranquility, or greeting. The opposite of peace is anger, whose fruit is displeasure, discord and rage. Anger is a sin against God and impacts not just us but those around us.

Peace is a person – Jesus Christ, and peace is found in Him alone.

In honor of those that shed their lives for us, choose Peace. Peace is an expression of our love of God. It starts with your daily walk with Christ. Walk in Him and His love will overflow thru you.

Matthew 5:9 NASB

“Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called Sons of God.”

Ephesians 2:14 NASB

“For HE Himself is our Peace…”
