Life in the Country...

I continue to be amazed by the creatures that we discover in the country. Maybe they were there in the city but life was too busy to notice.

We were blessed with a large number of hummingbirds over the summer. A few weeks ago we noticed a new creature; at first glance we thought it was a small hummingbird. There were about 30 buzzing the flowers. After some research I discovered they were a Hummingbird Hawk Moth. I was able to capture a short video of one last evening. Enjoy.

It’s amazing what can happen when we slow down for a few minutes and observe. Many blessings are right in front of us.
