A Life Well-lived!

When I say my final good-bye to this life, I hope others will say that was a life well-lived. This can only be true if I finish well. I've been on this discovery of what it means to finish well. My dad had the same wish in his last years.

So what does it mean to finish well and can it be done? To me, it would mean that on my final day, I would have fully surrendered all to Christ and recognized how blessed my life had been: knowing Christ, my bride Rachel, my son, family and friends. I would look back and see that a life well-lived had been surrounded with people.

Only thru Christ can we accomplish this feat. May one day we hear: well done good and faithful servant. Then we will know that our life was well-lived.
